Clarissa B. Wade, PhD, IMH-EⓇ is an infant toddler coaching specialist at Child Care Resource Center and an independent education consultant. Clarissa completed her PhD in Education at George Mason University with a specialization in early childhood education. She has worked in early childhood, special education, early intervention, and before/after school care settings as well as teaching in higher education. Most recently, she has obtained her Infant Mental Health Endorsement, furthering her commitment to supporting the emotional and behavioral needs of infants and toddlers. Her work focuses on supporting young children and families using evidence-based practices during daily activities. Dr. Wade has partnered with states and local education agencies to provide training and professional development to educators across a variety of topics including developmental milestones, social-emotional development, supporting communication and behavior, and family engagement. She has experience engaging in a practice-based coaching model with both parents and educators to create shared goals and implement strategies to improve daily routines and activities. Clarissa is a dedicated mom, wife, coffee enthusiast, and advocate.
